In March 2024 the government published its new 2030 Strategy for ECD Programmes. It proposes a new Social Compact for ECD with all role-players, including the practitioners and other staff who are involved every day in the delivery of ECD programmes.

The DBE would like to engage ECD practitioners in meaningful conversations on the Strategy. To assist, we have developed materials for short local workshops of 1.5 – 2 hours. Anyone can convene a workshop and invite local ECD practitioners.
