The focus of history teaching in the National Curriculum Statement has shifted to working with sources. The aim is to enable learners to extract, analyse and interpret evidence from sources, just like historians do, and write their own piece of history. Emphasis is on history as a process rather than a product. It is therefore imperative for learners to note that nearly all the assessment in history is based on sources and that the resources availed on this page will help them go through those skills in a confident manner.
