The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Mr Enver Surty, will tomorrow, Friday 22 May 2016, hand-over Motaung Primary School in Ventersdorp, North West as part of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI).
Built at a cost of R45 Million, the school will welcome its 757 learners to this state of the art building which features 24 classrooms, 3 Grade R classrooms, a resource centre, science laboratory, computer lab as well as a multipurpose hall and nutrition centre.
As one of the schools built as part of the R8.2 billion ASIDI programme, Motaung Primary School stands as testament to the goals of the program in restoring the dignity of our people and restore their faith in education by eradicating all the inappropriate structures and replacing them with state of the art school buildings.
