Minister Motshekga to congratulate teach ambassadors at graduation ceremony, 15 March 2019

The Minister of Basic Education, Mrs Angie Motshekga, MP, will on Saturday, 16 March 2019, congratulate 87 graduates who, through the Department’s partnership with Teacher Education and Curriculum Help South Africa (TeachSA), successfully completed an intensive training programme on teaching Mathematics, Science and English.

Established with the intention of improving Mathematics, Science and English learner performance in Grades 4 to 12, the TeachSA programme has since 2009 recruited and trained 810 Teach Ambassadors, with 566 already placed in low-resourced schools.
