Minister Motshekga to address SADTU 9th National Congress in Johannesburg, 25 September 2019

Basic Education Minister Mrs Angie Motshekga (MP) will address the 9th Congress of the South African Democratic Teachers’ Union (SADTU) on Thursday 26 September 2019 at the Nasrec Expo Centre, Johannesburg. More than 1,500 delegates are attending the National Congress themed: “Claiming our right to have our human dignity and safety protected and respected in pursuit of a decolonized quality public education.”

Minister Motshekga will share with SADTU members various matters discussed at the level of the Council of Education Ministers, and address some of the recent issues affecting teachers and teaching.
