The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Mr Enver Surty and the Western Cape MEC for Education, Mrs Debbie Schäfer, will tomorrow Thursday 19 May 2016, hand-over Mount View Secondary School in Hanover Park, Cape Town as part of the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Development Initiative (ASIDI).
Built at a cost of R52 Million, the school will welcome its 767 learners to this state of the art building boasting 31 classrooms, a library and resource centre, science laboratory, computer lab with internet connection as well as a multipurpose hall and nutrition centre.
As one of 25 Western Cape schools built as part of the R8.2 billion ASIDI programme, Mount View Primary School stands as testament to the goals of the program in restoring the dignity of Education by eradicating all the inappropriate structures and replacing them with state of the art school buildings.
