Venezuelan Embassy Donates Resources To Bela-Bela Primary School, 29 July 2015

Officials from the Venezuelan consulate in Pretoria led by Ambassador MJ Moreno-Merida will on Thursday 30 July 2015 deliver a donation of school bags and stationary to the learners of Hleketani Primary School in Bela-Bela Limpopo.

As part of the Venezuelan missions’ commitments lies the ‘’adopt a school’’ campaign which sees the embassy identifying schools across the country that are supported with resources such as infrastructure, sporting facilities, monetary funding and in the case of Hleketani, 500 school bags and stationary.

It was Nelson Mandela who said ‘’Education is the most powerful tool you can use to change the world”. As Mandela Month draws to a close, the DBE and Venezuelan government celebrate this icon in a way that truly captures and gives life to the statement.

Members of the Media are invited to attend the handover of the donations as follows:

Date:                Thursday, 30 July 2015

Time:               12h00

Venue:             Hleketani Primary School, Bela Bela, Limpopo
