Minister of Basic Education to Announce the 2016 NSC Results, 02 January 2017

The Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga will announce the National Senior Certificate Examination Results on Wednesday 04 January 2017 at Vodacom World in Midrand Johannesburg.

 

The class of 2016 can access their results in various newspapers on January 5 using only EXAM NUMBERS. The Department urges candidates to obtain their results at the school or exam centre where they wrote their examination.

 

The evening will also see the Director General give an in-depth technical briefing into the results, allowing for a greater understanding into how the processes involved in administering the NSC Examinations, marking and scoring.

 

Members of the media are invited to attend the release of NSC Results as follows:

 

Technical Briefing

Release of Matric Results including SABC 1 Live Broadcast

NB: It is Non-Negotiable for members of the media to complete the accreditation form. Members of the media who are not accredited will not be allowed in the venue.
