Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga to join the education sunday programme at Hope Restoration Ministries, 15 January 2017

The Minister of Basic Education Mrs Angie Motshekga will this morning, Sunday 15 January 2017, visit Hope Restoration Ministries in Chloorkop as the church observes Education Sunday. The church will present awards to the Class of 2016 and all those who would have completed their studies.

The Minister will join the special education service to create awareness about the Second Chance Matric Support Programme, an initiative aimed at assisting matriculants wishing to rewrite subject they didn't pass. The Department of Basic Education will set up an exhibition to provide information and assist those wishing to register for supplementary examinations.
