Basic Education and the British Council continue to improve training of English First Additional Language Teachers, 26 January 2015

 

The teaching of English First Additional Language (EFAL) will take centre stage on Wednesday 28 January 2015 as the Department of Basic Education and British Council host a meeting to discuss the impact of the ‘’Certificate in Primary and Secondary English Language Teaching’’.

The meeting will be held with the purpose of evaluating the impact of the ongoing training of subject advisors, and to discuss possible improvement that may be necessary to ensure the best possible results of the training continue to strengthen the content and pedagogic competence of all teachers in our schooling system.

In attendance will be representatives from Provincial Education Departments, Teacher Unions as well as lecturers from Higher Education Institutions who all participated in the training courses.
