Good Evening

I am here to deliver a vote of thanks. Firstly let me congratulate all the learners who have received awards, this is our way of showing appreciation for the hard you put to get excellent results and for some of you against odds.

Let me also convey our greatest gratitude to the SABC for the partnership and indeed the collaboration in hosting the broadcast tonight. Much appreciated.

We also thank Vodacom for the venue and for hosting us in this auditorium. Thank you again.

The prizes you have seen being given to the top achievers were made possible by our generous sponsors;

Thank you so much to everybody for your contribution in making the basic education system continue to rise. High quality education in our life time is possible. For those in the auditorium please join us for dinner on the other side of the building. For everybody at home, good night.
