Purpose
To provide strategic leadership as well as to monitor and evaluate the National School Nutrition Programme.
Functions
- To develop and monitor the implementation of a Framework on the National School Nutrition Programme;
- To contribute to enhanced learning capacity through school feeding programmes;
- To promote and support food production and improve food security in school communities;
- To strengthen nutrition education in schools and communities; and
- To monitor compliance with the DORA and Treasury Regulations.
