Minister Angie Motshekga visited the Kenneth Kaunda Education district in the North West Province on 10 August 2016. Minister Motshekga started her visit at Matlosana Secondary School in the Matlosana township in Klerksdorp to congratulate the school for winning in five categories at the 2016 ABC Motsepe Schools Eisteddfod.

Minister Motshekga also visited Nkang-Mahlale Secondary and Ithuseng Primary Schools in the Jouberton township in Matlosana where she engaged and interacted with learners, educators, School Management Teams (SMTs) and School Governing Bodies (SGBs). The minister also visited BA Seobi Secondary School in the Ikageng township in the Tlokwe Municipality where she met with school communities. The Minister was accompanied by the Head of the North West Department of Education, Dr Itumeleng Molale and the Kenneth Kaunda Education District Director, Mr Hasimbhay Motara.
