Minister Motshekga views these offences very seriously. She has urged all teachers to uphold the highest professional standards and to demonstrate good conduct so they can be exemplary to the learners who depend on them for guidance and life skills.
The Minister has made an appeal that teachers refrain from activities that may tarnish the image of the profession and the education sector as a whole. Minister Motshekga has called for tough action to be taken against those found guilty especially in cases involving learners.
