Angelina Matsie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, in terms of sections 61(c) and (d) of the South African Schools  Act, 1996 ( Act No. 84 of 1996) hereby gives her intention to amend the Regulations pertaining to the National Curriculum Statement Grades R-12, promulgated as Government Notice 1114 in Government gazette No. 36041 of 28 December 2012. In view of this, she invites stakeholder bodies, interested parties and members of the public to submit written comments on the amendments to the Regulations as set out in the Schedule (See related documents on the right ).

• The name, address, telephone number and fax number of the person or organisation responsible for the submission of comments must be provided.
