Draft CAPS for 3 stream model

Call for comments on the draft CAPS for new Grades 8 and 9 subjects developed as part of the three stream model to be listed in the NCS Grades R-12

Mrs Angelina Matsie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, acting under section 3(4)(l) of the National Education Policy Act, 1996 (Act No. 27 of 1996), and after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers, hereby calls for comments to amend the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) for Grades R-12 as set out in the Schedule.

Interested persons or organisations are hereby invited to submit written comments on the draft Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement for thirteen new grade 8 and 9 subjects within 30 calendar days from the date of publication.
