Dr Rakometsi, President of the IAEA, said that it was heartwarming to see so many South African colleagues making the journey to support my Presidency of the IAEA, a role that South Africa is proud to see held by one of its own. This reflected the country's enduring commitment to excellence in education, assessment and quality assurance. Delegates embraced this unique opportunity to learn from global pioneers who are shaping the future of educational measurement and strengthening examination standards through international engagement. The lessons and insights gained will contribute towards advancing the quality, integrity, and standards of South Africa’s examinations.
