Angelina Matsie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers and in terms of sections 3(4) of the National Education Policy Act, 1996 ( Act No. 27 of 1996) read in conjunction with section 51 of the South African Schools Act, 1996 (Act No. 84 of 1996), hereby gives her intention to amend the Regulations Pertaining to the Conduct, Administration and Management of Assessment for the National Senior Certificate published under GN R872 in Government Gazette 31337 of 29 August 2008. In view of this, I invite stakeholder bodies and members of the public to comment on the relevant regulation changes as set out in the Schedule (See related documents on the right ).
