Call for comments on the draft curriculum and assessment policy statement on Twenty Six Technical Subject to be listed in the National Curriculum Statement Grade R-12

Angelina Matsie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, hereby, in terms of section 3(4)(l) of the National Education Policy Act, 1996 (Act No. 27 of 1996), and after consultation with the Council of Education Ministers, invite all stakeholder bodies and members of the public to comment on the draft Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) on Twenty Six Technical Subject to be listed in the National Curriculum Statement Grade R-12.  She invites stakeholder bodies, interested parties and members of the public to submit written comments on the amendments to the Policy as set out in the Schedule (See Gazette Documents on the right ).

  • All submissions should be prepared under the headings listed in the schedule;
  • The name, address, telephone number and fax number of the person or organisation responsible for the submission of comments must be provided.
