DBE Tenders

  • Where does the DBE advertise tenders?
The DBE advertises tenders on the DBE website and in the Government Tender Bulletin.

  • Where do I get tender documents?
Tender documents are available at the DBE’s Reception as hard copies and can be posted to bidders on request. A bidder can arrange with the Courier to collect the document on the bidder’s behalf at the bidder’s costs.

  • How do I submit tender documents?
Tender documents must be deposited in the box at the entrance to the building. The box is clearly marked “Tender Box”.

A bidder can also arrange with the Courier to deliver the document to the DBE/ deposit it in the DBE’s Tender Box. The bidder will do so at his/ her own risk as DBE cannot be held liable if the document is not in the Tender Box at the tender closing date and time. The bidder can also send their bid document through the SA Post Offices. That is also done at the bidder’s own risk, DBE cannot be held liable if the tender document has delayed at the Post Office and couldn’t reach the DBE’s Tender Box/ DBE’s Registry on/ before the tender closing date and time.
